Due to conflicting events, we have decided to change the date of the LAN party to August 8, 2009. Update your calendars!

UPDATE! First off, we need more LAN goers! So far we have 5 signed up, including myself. I hope there is enough demand in the area for a LAN! Secondly, I’ve been preparing for our first LAN party – over the past week I purchased 2 more Nortel Baystack 24 port 10/100 switches (a total of 3 now!) and built our dedicated game server sporting a AMD Operton 2.4ghz 64-bit dual core processor w/ 3GB of ram (going to add more soon) along with a 1GB fiber optic NIC and running Windows XP 64-bit. I tested the server running a dedicated BF2 server; everything works great!

The next LAN Monkeys party will take place August 8, 2009 from 9am till 10:30pm at the Comfort Inn in Naugatuck, CT. Admission is $20.00 -  covers the cost of the hall rental, snack food, drinks and either midday pizzas or grinders. LAN Monkeys is a non-profit organization. This is a BYOC LAN party for OPEN PLAY. Tournaments might be organized during the LAN. Register to reserve your seat – registration & payment  are required! Unfortunately, we cannot accept walk-ins at this time.
